What is the WoW Conference and Gala?

The WoW Conference and Gala is an inaugural event designed to celebrate and empower women in the extended workforce, with a focus on networking, learning, and recognizing the incredible contributions of women across the global talent ecosystem.

How can men be involved? Can men join?

In shaping the future of the extended workforce ecosystem, it’s crucial to foster an inclusive environment that welcomes diverse perspectives and talents. While our mission at the conference is to spotlight and empower women’s achievements, we also recognize the indispensable role that men play in this dialogue. Building a more equitable and dynamic industry requires collaboration and mutual support from all genders. This holistic approach not only enriches the conversation but also paves the way for more innovative and sustainable solutions. Thus, our agenda is carefully designed to include sessions and discussions that are relevant and engaging for everyone, aiming to cultivate a community where every participant feels valued and empowered to contribute.

What is the dress code for the events?

We encourage attendees to dress comfortably but professionally overall.

Conference = Business Casual

WoW Gala Dress Code = Cocktail Attire (some wear full length gowns).
We are excited to welcome you to the WoW Gala! To ensure a sophisticated and stylish atmosphere, we kindly ask that all attendees adhere to the following dress code:

Cocktail Dresses: Short to knee-length dresses, elegant jumpsuits, or chic two-piece sets. Full length gowns are not necessary.

Suits or Dress Pants: Dark or neutral-colored suits or dress pants with a collared shirt. Ties or bow ties are optional but add a touch of refinement

You can nominate individuals by filling out the nomination form. Ensure you detail the nominee’s achievements and contributions towards supporting and uplifting women in the extended workforce.

Is there a fee to attend the WoW Conference and Gala?

We have packages for all types of attendees.  If you are an Enterprise Buyer of Labor working in Procurement, Talent Aquisition or Diversity, you can attend at no cost as a VIP.  For solution providers and suppliers, you can buy a ticket or sponsor.  Club members receive 25% off. Where is the event located?

The event will take place at The Depot in Minneapolis. More detailed directions and accommodation suggestions are available on our website.

Can I register for the WoW Conference on the day of the event?

Due to limited seating and high demand, we strongly recommend early registration to secure your spot. On-site registration will depend on availability.

Will there be opportunities for networking?

Absolutely! Networking is a key component of the WoW Conference. There will be dedicated sessions and breaks designed to foster networking among attendees, speakers, and sponsors.

Additionally, we will host a virtual 1-1 networking session a week before the event on October 30.  All registrants will be invited to this virtual event.

Can I volunteer at the WoW Conference?

We may be looking for volunteers!.  Volunteering at the WoW Conference is a fantastic way to meet influential professionals and contribute to the success of the event. Please email our staff @ info@womenofwork.org.

Do you have recommendations for nearby hotels?

Did you know that the Renaissance is charging $504 per night outside of our room block??!!

While there may be options nearby that are $50-80 less per night…. I have a ticket to the gala. Is the seating assigned or is it open seating?

Seating at the gala is assigned. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate specific seating requests. However, if you have purchased a table, you may invite guests to join you, provided they have not already registered for the event.

Are there dining options at the hotel? Are reservations required?

The hotel offers an onsite dining option, The Milwaukee Road Restaurant. If you plan on dining here, reservations are recommended to ensure you have a table.

How do I share to social media that I am attending or sponsoring?

Will there be an event app?

Yes, we will send out an email approximately 2 weeks before the event.  Whitelabel our emails from womenofwork.org

How long are the sessions?

Sessions are usually 30-45 minutes in length. Short, sweet and impactful!
